Workforce Readiness Room Activities: We have a room dedicated to activities that help students develop their workforce readiness skills. If you have a skill or area of expertise that you would like to showcase, we need YOU as a Workforce Readiness volunteer! Examples of workforce readiness room activities are How To Tie A Tie, Resume Building, Interview Tips and Tricks, Dining Etiquette, Budgeting, W-9, I-9 & Other Tax Information, Social Media Etiquette, How to Write a Thank You Note, Mock Interviewing, etc. Any skill or knowledge you think a student should have before graduating high school is welcome in the Workforce Readiness Room!
Hospitality Room: Help with refreshments for exhibitors and volunteers. We will offer self-serve breakfast pastries in the morning and boxed lunches in the afternoon along with beverages.
Event Navigator: Assist with information and flow as students move throughout the event to help youth and adult participants.
General Event Volunteer: This type of volunteer is flexible and willing to help as needed at any of our event stations.
