Workforce Solutions of West Central Texas (CECT Workforce ) is looking for Career Specialist for their Partner Relations Unit.
This position provides job search and placement assistance for subsidized and unsubsidized employment and prepares participants for employment. The Career Specialist is responsible for helping participants reach their employment goals.
Required Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university or;
Alternative requirements are a minimum of 60 hours from an accredited college or university in a related field and 2 years of relative experience or graduation from high school/GED and 3 years of directly relevant experience.
Related field may include Human Resources, Social Services, Education, Career Counseling and Business Administration.
Relevant experience is defined as experience in job matching services, recruitment, interviewing, job development, public relations or experience in workforce development programs and services.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) beneficial; but not required.
Valid driver's license and proof of liability insurance are required.
Work week will be Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Pay will be $15.00 an hour.
