We ensure that youth and adults are well positioned for the future by providing full employment support, career counseling, job matching, training opportunities, and child care assistance. We strengthen businesses with human resource expertise, workplace training and education, and support to build a skilled workforce. Helping Texans succeed. It’s our mission.
Workforce Solutions offers a broad range of services covering business solutions for employers, jobs and training for individuals, child care scholarships and assistance to providers, and career education for students. Because we are indirectly supported through state and federal tax dollars, we invest those dollars in our region to provide services at no cost to you.
Locally Operated & Governed
We are locally operated and governed, but are also part of the statewide Texas Workforce Solutions network, which is a part of the Texas Workforce Commission. As a network partner, we support Work In Texas, the largest job-matching database in Texas. We assist businesses in finding qualified employees, training new employees, improving the skills of current employees, and identifying solutions for human resource needs.
Workforce Centers
We operate four workforce centers located in Abilene, Brownwood, Eastland, and Sweetwater to serve job seekers and employers. Each center is equipped with high speed internet, computers, copiers, scanners, phones, and fax machines for public access. Our knowledgeable staff are available to assist with job searching, resume building, career development, and more.

We partner with economic development, business, education, civic organizations, and community leaders to create strategies and solutions that promote economic growth for the region.
