Texas Department of Transportation (Albany) is hiring for General Transportation Technician II or III. This position will perform routine work related to transportation activities such as skilled roadway maintenance and repair; light and heavy equipment operation; preventive and minor maintenance on equipment; traffic control; helping the public during emergency situations.
Requirements
General Transportation Technician II 1 year in Engineering support, maintenance, construction, heavy equipment operation or roadway maintenance work. (Experience can be satisfied by full time or prorated part time equivalent) No supervisory experience required. Related technical training or education from an accredited institution may be substituted for experience on a year per year basis.General Transportation Technician III 3 years in Engineering support, maintenance, construction, heavy equipment operation or roadway maintenance work. (Experience can be satisfied by full time or prorated part time equivalent) No supervisory experience required. Related technical training or education from an accredited institution may be substituted for experience on a year per year basis.
Salary range is from $ 27840.00 to $ 43798.00, yearly - based on experience. Position includes full array of benefits.
