The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) will hold a public hearing to provide an opportunity for feedback on the administration of the state’s subsidized child care program and the draft Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) 2022–2024 State Plan. TWC welcomes input on all aspects of the state’s subsidized child care system including:
• the delivery of subsidized child care services
• alignment of early education programs
• quality initiatives and standards, including the Texas Rising Star program
• other topics central to early childhood education
This event will be a hybrid meeting with opportunities to provide input either in-person or virtually. This hearing will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 in Room 244 of the Main Building at TWC in Austin, 101 East 15th Street.
To provide written input or to register to speak during the meeting, please complete the Public Registration Form. Registration for virtual comments must be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. on April 26, 2021. Individuals registering to give virtual testimony will receive a separate link to access the meeting. The public may register on-site the day of the public meeting for in-person testimony.
TWC’s draft CCDF State Plan, will be available at TWC Proposed Rules by 5:00 p.m. on April 20, 2021.
