New Horizons Ranch in Abilene is seeking a Kitchen Cook.
Job Description:

- Building healthy relationships with the kids in care to support them as they heal and work through their trauma. This also encourages positive behavior and relational growth;
- Completing and implementing necessary trainings as required;
- Studying, practicing and operating within the New Horizons Philosophy and Employee Handbook.
- Plan and prepare meals that meet proper nutritional requirements;
- Ensure that food is stored and handled properly, and that the kitchen and all its equipment are thoroughly sanitary;
- Be responsible for purchasing food and keeping records of those accounts;
- Manage relationships with distributors and resolve issues with vendors promptly; and
- Ensure safety and sanitation practices in the kitchen.
Minimum Education: Highschool Diploma or Equivalent
Pay: $14-$15/hr Depending on Experience
