Job Description:

•          Report for duty promptly in proper uniform and physical condition.
•          Consistent attendance is a requirement for this position.  Excessive tardiness will result in disciplinary action.
•          Conduct pre-trip/ post-trip inspection of assigned bus/van to ensure safety.
•          Must be able to adhere to tight time schedules under varying conditions and still operate the vehicle in a safe manner.  Must respond to pressures to meet time schedules. 
•         Must collect proper fare and/or passes. If issues occur concerning fares, the employee will contact Dispatch or Supervisor.
•         Interact with all CityLink passengers in a professional and courteous manner.  Must practice good customer service skills in dealing with difficult situations.
•          Must use correct safety procedures to operate lift, secure mobility devices when assisting passengers.
•         Assist passengers when boarding/departing the bus/van while ensuring you comply with federal mandates as they relate to those with disabilities including mobility devices.
•          Must provide origin to destination service for passengers.
•       Respond to emergency or unusual situations such as: traffic accidents, passengers who get ill on the bus/van, evacuations and passengers with special needs.
•          Comply with federal mandates as they relate to assisting boarding and departing passengers with disabilities.
•         Operate a two-way radio system in accordance with established rules and regulations of CityLink and the Federal Communication Commission (FCC).
•          Must be able to prepare written reports on traffic accidents, bus/van incidents, passenger information, road damage, etc.
•          Must be able to perform repetitive work.
•          Must work alone, or as part of a team.
•          Maintain a good working relationship with the public and coworkers.
•          Some outside working hours may be required for special events or training.
•         Must be able to work variable shifts as required.
•          Must attend monthly meetings and/or complete e-learning courses.
•          Must gain knowledge of the operating rules and regulations of CityLink. 
•          Must adhere to company policy. 
•          Performs other related duties as assigned.
