Design Technician performs basic drafting, calculations and field work. Learns basic design procedures and techniques. Design activity is overseen by a licensed professional engineer or registered architect who has final approval authority for projects. Must have a high School Diploma or GEd and 2 years in Drafting, design, plan preparation.Experience can be satisfied by full-time or prorated part-time equivalent.Related College education or relevant technical training may be substituted for experience on year per year basis.
