Buzzi Unicem USA, a major US cement manufacturer, is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic 2 — Air Compressor Technician to join their team at their Maryneal, TX plant.
This position is for compressed air in a manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all maintenance and service on compressed air systems primarily Rotary Screw
- Preventative maintenance, troubleshooting faults and failures
- Monitor the operating status of the facilities air compressors
Required Qualifications:
- Must have a good understanding of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Sullair and Atlas Copco compressors is desirable.
- 300 HP electric motors with 4-500 CFM comps at 175 up to 350 PSI.
Experience:
- Air compressor repair: Three years (Required)
- High School diploma or equivalent required; technical college degree preferred.
- Refrigeration certification a plus
Salary: $32.00 per hour
