First Bank Texas is seeking a Full Time Credit Analyst in Abilene.
The Credit Analyst is responsible for gathering and analyzing credit information on current and potential borrowers, determining the advisability of granting credit for diversified types of loans, assistant loan officers in writing loan requests, and promoting business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assists loan officers in performing pre-qualification assessment and analysis of financial condition and risk of financing request within framework of Bank credit culture and current economic and industry trends.
- Assists loan officers in gathering data from customers, internal and outside sources; prepares spreadsheets and analyzes financial information including financial statements and tax returns; and contacts customers for additional information and clarification of data.
- Compiles data from credit bureaus, conducts industry peer comparisons, and performs cash flow analyses and other such tasks and comparisons.
- Writes financial reviews and reports, and makes recommendation on loan structures and terms to loan officers.
The ideal candidate will have Bachelor's degree or 2 years related experience and/or training. Work related experience should consist of a financial analyzing or lending background.
Salary: 47k - 67k Depending on Experience
