Description:
- The Patrol Officer under the direction of the Police Chief and shall serve the Colorado City Police Department. Provide policing services that include protecting life and property
- Investigate and report criminal offenses. Preserve order and peace
- Provide traffic enforcement, accident investigation and care of the injured
- Perform duties and services that benefit the general public during emergencies
- The City of Colorado City is seeking a highly motivated officer who understands patrol functions and has the ability to enforce laws and ordinances
Requirements:
- Applicant must pass a background investigation and psychological exam
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Certification by the State of Texas as a Police Officer
- Maintains TCLEOSE Basic Certification
- Valid Texas Driver's License with acceptable driving record
