Heavy Equipment Operator
(Rotan)
The Heavy Equipment Operator position is a full-time, hourly position and is located at our mine in Rotan, Texas. Heavy equipment may include dozers, front-end loaders, haul trucks and other pieces of equipment.
Essential Job Requirements:
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner in order to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or fatalities
- Ensure heavy equipment is safely and securely stored
- Advise the Mine/Quarry Manager of any requirements for maintenance or repairs
Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:
- Operation of front-end loaders, dozers, haul trucks and other pieces of heavy equipment
- Workplace safety requirements and procedures
- Ability to operate heavy equipment in a safe and responsible manner
