Examples of Duties:
- Patrol an assigned area via foot or vehicle to ensure law compliance and investigate suspicious activities, individuals, or conditions
- Make arrests of individuals who violate the law and/or ordinances
- Subdue violent individuals
- Respond to calls for assistance and provide the necessary police protection
- Issue traffic citations or warnings to individuals violating traffic laws
Qualifications:
- Applicants must be 21 years old with a maximum age of 44 years. Documentation must be provided
- Must be high school graduate or have equivalent GED
- Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License and have a satisfactory background driving record and pass a background investigation
- Must be able to read and write the English language
- Must be a citizen of the United States
Salary:
- $60,815.98 - $67,037.64/yr
