Child Care Assistance

Workforce Solutions of West Central Texas Child Care Services (CCS) offers child care assistance to help qualifying families pay their child care expenses so they can work, go to school, or attend a training program. Once a family has been determined eligible for services, the task of finding a child care provider that best fits the family’s needs begins.

Child Care Provider Options

CCS offers 2 child care provider options to families - regulated care and relative care. Regulated care is care provided by a home or facility that is either licensed or registered by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. Relative care is care provided by a close family relative of the child(ren) for whom care is being authorized.
